Fulfilling a life long passion.

Boonseon came to the financial planning profession as “a career changer” from a stay-at-home mom after sending off her youngest child to college. She has always had a keen and gravitational interest in personal finance matters. From her childhood in Korea, in deep poverty still in recovery from the war, she learned the impact of financial scarcity firsthand. Later she became certain that any individual, regardless of their net-worth, needs help to navigate through their financial landscape to achieve their ultimate financial health.

The most heartbreaking part of her job is seeing potential clients who should have sought financial advice prior to or at the time of pivotal milestones that could have prevented them from devastating mistakes. A sound yet simple guidance might have sufficed to help them navigate successfully with relative ease, be it a retirement, a divorce, or a major health issue. Financial Planning is not rocket science, but basic and consistent courses of action could bring about vastly positive outcomes in the short term as well as long term future of our lives.

Conversely, Boonseon savors seeing a light bulb go on in a clients’ eyes when they just caught on to new and vital information.  Additionally, she enjoys helping her clients discover a solution to a vexing question they had been wrestling with or seeing a blueprint that their plan is workable to afford them a comfortable future.

As a “coach” nothing trumps the privilege of changing lives for the better. Boonseon believes that personal finances are not about the numbers alone. Each of us writes a life story and personal financial planning allows us to write the story to our personal dictates.
